Abstract:
raised by a ruthless mother, the young Sophie Rostopchin, daughter of the governor of Moscow, is experiencing a turbulent childhood. In 1812, Russia is threatened by the Grand Army of Napoleon. Forced into exile for political reasons, the tsar's immediate family moved to Paris. Sophie discovers the joys of dancing, those of marriage with Eugene de Segur, then those of the motherhood. Author: Francoise
GRARD is professor of literature in Paris. Rediscovering Children's Literature with her children, she has published a decade of numerous books, mainly Actes Sud Junior, but also for youth Gallimard and Flammarion. His writing is divided between novels dealing with themes related to adolescence, thrillers, but also an historical album. In addition, it multiplies the interventions and writing workshops in primary schools, college and high school.

CHERRY lives in Brittany, near Rennes. He worked as an illustrator for newspapers and publishers for many youth: Casterman, School of Leisure, Bayard, Fleurus, Usborne ... He has produced illustrations
